Canaletto-Haus is a late Gothic merchant's house in Pirna's historic old town, named after painter Bernardo Bellotto, known as Canaletto. Its striking gable facades and tracery-like ornaments date back to a major 1525 renovation, while original wooden beam ceilings and wall paintings from 1490 remain inside.
The building’s Pretiosensaal on the first floor features rare period details like a coffered ceiling from 1630 with printed rag paper. This venue offers a distinctive setting for small business gatherings amid centuries of architectural history and views over the bustling market square.
